BiciSport @ Kyogle Gravel Classic @ 25 July - Alex Simmons (BiciSport) took MOR into the mysterious & hidden world of gravel at the Kyogle Classic
Kyogle was some 800k north of Sydney and into the scenic Border Ranges near the Queensland border. The flatlands near Grafton (still covered in sugar cane crops) gave way to cattle country at hilly Kyogle. Delightful scenery & stunning gravel roads immediately out of Kyogle greeted the 190 starters.
Alex had great company in the 50k event with Aussie legend Henk Vogels (Aust Champion and highly regarded Euro professional & sports director). The 50k event was highly competitive and Henk went top 10 as did Alex (result sheets attached). This was the first Kyogle Classic and we can't wait for the next one.
