Jacky Aernoudt 1983 # 1 - Another Belgian team … another Belgian furniture (meubel) manufacturer, but this time the team had real firepower in Adrie Van Der Poel (father of Mathieu) and the likes of Hennie Kuiper & Eric Vanderaerden. This was a class team with talent to burn ….

…. but the big trouble was the team was seriously short of real money and burnt through the cash long before the 1983 season got to the midway point at the Tour de France. 1983 was it, thank you very much.

Jacky Aernoudt 1983 # 4 - Aernoudt rode Italian Rossin frames with Campagnolo groupsets. A great team loaded with talent but regrettably inversely proportional to the amount of cash on hand to keep it all alive.
