Emotion was vivid when a major fire broke out at the restaurant "L'Arbre", an iconic establishment located in the heart of the legendary Carrefour de l'Arbre, one of the most mythical cobbled sectors of Paris-Roubaix. Fortunately, no casualties are reported, but the material damage appears considerable.

For cycling enthusiasts from all over the world, the Carrefour de l'Arbre is not just a stretch of cobblestone. It is a place full of history, suffering, glory and emotion. Located in the final kilometers of the Queen of Classics, this sector is often the theater of the decisive attacks that shape the legend of Paris-Roubaix. There are many champions who built their victory there and wrote their names in cycling history.

The Arbre restaurant is an integral part of this heritage. For decades, it has welcomed riders, supporters, journalists and cycling lovers from all over the world to discover this place that has become almost sacred in the universe of Paris-Roubaix.
