Recovery Ward - Best wishes to Raoul Westbrook after a car accident and time in RNS in recovery. Best wishes Raoul and a speedy recovery
Update @ 21 June - Raoul did take a heavy knock from the car with several broken bones (collarbone/ribs/pelvis) but Raoul is in remarkably good spirits and on the way to recovery.
From next week Raoul will be in Delmar Rehab Hospital in Dee Why but can only take one visitor at a time. If you wish to visit please first SMS Raoul on 0427 579 884.

Gerolsteiner Professional Cycling Team (Germany) - 1997 to 2008
The team originally started in 1997 as Team Cologne and morphed into Gerolsteiner in 1999. Sponsors were Gerolsteiner (mineral water), Shimano (groupsets) and Specialized (framesets). Team kit was a highly desirable light blue and who doesn’t want a Specialized frameset (yes please).
The team won big and they won everywhere with 250 team victories over 10 years across Grand Tours (a 2003 TdeF stage win) and Classics (Rebellin won it all in 2004 - with Fleche, Leige & Amstel). Numerous team members contributed towards the 250 victories with Georg Totschnig (Grand Tours), then Haselbacker, Pollack, Rich, Lang, Hondo & Wegmann. Stefan Schumacker & Bernard Kohl also contributed.
