  • From a racing perspective September is now history, October is looking in serious doubt, and November is now coming into serious question. Its one thing for certain civil liberties to be restored at some point, but the “return to community sport” has an even longer timeframe.

The professional side of Auber 93 started in 1994 and is ongoing to today and originally included sponsorship from Peugeot, Big Mat (Supermarkets) and now sponsored by St Michel. The team is well known for five starts in the Tour de France under the Big Mat sponsorship. The last Tour de France participation was 2001. Team members included Cyril Saugrain, Theirry Gouvenou, Pascal Lino and Anglophiles Jeremy Hunt, Jay Sweet & Patrick Jonker. The five starts at Le Tour was no mean feat in the broader Auber 93 history and today the team operates as a Category 3 professional team. That is vision and ongoing commitment.
