Andrea Ferrigato is a highly regarded Italian professional cyclist and won some 17 professional races, includng two Classics (Leeds & Zurich) the GP Quest France & GP de Suisse, a Giro stage (1994), several Tours de France, World Championships riding for Italy and a best placed 7th in the Milan San Remo Classic in 1998. A totally brilliant career by any measure racing for several landmark Italian professional teams including Ariostea, ZG Mobili, Fassa Bortolo, V Segouros (Spain), Allessio & Acqua & Sapone
Andrea was in Sydney over 18 January enroute to the Tour DownUnder in Adelaide and BiciSport hosted a dinner at the Harbord Hotel in Freshwater. Andrea then moved onto Griffith.
