Alpilatte OLMO Cierre Cycling Team (Italy - San Marino) - 1985

The team was broadly under the Alfa Lum banner from 1982-1990 but Apilatte was the 1985 verson. Apilatte was dairy products and bikes were OLMO (being Italian). Cars were supplied by Mazda.

Riders were a classy lot but results in 1985 were pretty poor. Team members were Guiseppe Martinelli (more famous as a future team Sports Director), Roberto Gaggioli (sprinter), Marino Lajarretta (Grand Tour rider), Michael Wilson (classy Aussie rider), Serge Demierre, Marino Amadori & Maurizio Fondriest (future World Pro Road Champion).
