Racing : BiciSport-NSW Team Time Trial Championship Singleton Weekend

Nowra 18 - Womens Team.jpg
Singleton TTT Circuit @ 30.29k The 30k Singleton circuit goes anticlockwise starting & finishing at the Glendon Rd & Glendon Lane intersection. The above profile somewhat exaggerates the predominantly flat to undulating profile. Recce conducted 29 April The 30k circuit is nestled between the Hunter River (to the south) and the Tangary Mountains (to the east). The road surface is smoothe & fast. The initial kilometres along Glendon Lane towards Elderslie Rd are undulating with three small hills towards the Elderslie Rd junction. The left hand turn at Elderslie is greeted by another brief hill then a long & straight descent towards Gresford Rd. Another left hand turn at Gresford Rd (direction Singleton) sees the only significant hill of the day (at just 750m long) after Glendon Brook bridge. From there its a long and steady drag towards the local cemetary (direction Singleton). Approaching Singleton its a short and sharp descent down to the Hunter River (turning left at Glendon Rd), then its pan flat heading towards the finish at Glendon Lane with the Hunter River on your right. Detailed Mocka - 0.0 Start, 1.9 slight rise, 3.3 gradual descent, 3.7 Glendon Brook bridge, 4.5 medium hill, 4.9 slight drag, 5.3 Elderslie Rd LHT, 5.6 slight rise, 6.5 slight rise, 7.7 start straight descent, 9.8 end of descent, 10.2 Gresford Rd LHT, 10.9 Glendon Brook bridge, 11.4 start of hill, 11.9 end of hill, 13.7 slight rise, 16.7 slight rise, 17.4 long drag, 20.1 end of long drag, 20.9 long descent, 21.6 Glendon Rd LHT, 25.1 short sharp descent, 25.8 sharp LHT, 28.5 pass Roughit Lane, 29.0 slight rise, 30.0 Finish
